When we talk about the “quality of a diamond,” We’re talking about the 4 C’s…

Diamond Cut Grade

  • Diamond Cut Grade refers to the brilliance of the diamond. often times consumers and even many jewelers confuse this with the shape. the diamond center sources only the most brilliant and excellent cut diamonds. the purpose of the cut is to maximize the light performance of the diamond giving you the most brilliance, fire and scintilation.

Diamond Color Grade

  • Diamond Color Grade: In most diamonds, the term actually refers to the absence of color. The less color in the diamond, the more desirable and valuable it is. Some of these differences are not visible to the naked eye, but directly impact the overall quality and price of the diamond.

Diamond Clarity Grade

  • Diamond Clarity Grade measures the amount, size and placement of internal Characteristics. Grades run from ‘Flawless,’ with virtually no internal characteristics, to ‘Included,’ which contain a significant number of internal characteristics.

Diamond Carat Weight

  • Diamond Carat Weight refers to a diamond’s weight. Generally speaking, the higher the carat weight, the more expensive the diamond. Two diamonds of equal carat weight, however, can have very different quality and price when the other three Cs are considered.
