Jim is a fourth generation jeweler and native to Springdale, Arkansas. He grew up in Fort Smith where is father owned and operated the original Diamond Center location. Jim spent much time as a kid in his fathers jewelry store and worked their through high school and some in college. He sold his first gemstone fashion ring at the age of 11. Often times from then on Jim worked at the store during the holidays helping in anyway he could from servicing the Diamond Center customers, to changing watch batteries and even wrapping gifts.
Jim moved to Fayetteville to attend the University of Arkansas where he studied marketing. After college Jim worked in logistics and the auto industry before returning to his family roots. His father was ready to retire in 2015 and without hesitation Jim stepped up and purchased the store from Jim Cash Jr. He took ownership in January 2016. Since taking ownership of the Diamond Center, Jim has opened a second Diamond Center location and moved both of those locations to free standing locations to better serve the needs of their clients, customers and guests. The store has grown in both size and total sales.
Jim now lives in Springdale with his 3 kids, two daugthers Jaden and Caroline and one son, Wynston. Most of his free time is spent with his kids. They spend a lot of time boating on Beaver lake through out the summer, attending football games for the Kansas City Chiefs and time skiing and snowboarding in Colorado. Jim's three kids are his reason why!
